About

Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by!

My name is Eleanor Grace, but you can call me Grace. After much thought and prayer, I started Perfectly Imperfect. As of right now, I am choosing to remain anonymous and not posting any pictures of myself because this blog is meant to glorify God, not myself. If I feel called to reveal my identity at a later date, I will do so. However, you can rest assured that everything I write is true (besides using different names for family and friends, as well as other very minor details in an effort to secure the identity of myself and anyone else I may name) and comes from the heart.

I have three main goals for this blog:

  1. Bring others to Jesus by allowing them to see my own sin and need for a Savior
  2. Glorify God, because without Him I am nothing. All that I have, all that I’ve done, and all that I am is only by His grace. I dare not imagine my life without Him.
  3. Promote the idea that imperfections can and should be displayed on social media

A little about myself (please read the blog for many, many more details!). I am in my late thirties. I grew up in the Carolinas and still live in my hometown. I have a wonderful husband, Thomas, and two sweet boys, (Thomas, Jr. (TJ), 6 years old, and James, 1 years old). I work part time and am blessed to be able to stay at home with my boys on my days off. I belong to a small, local church. I make a lot of mistakes and my sins are too many to count. I desperately need Jesus, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without Him.

I believe that the Bible should always be the number one source for all things related to God and faith, so always look to the source! That being said, I try my best to use the Bible and prayer in my writings, and I have read copious books, listened to sermons, etc. by a variety of leaders in the Church. But in case the blog name isn’t obvious enough, I’m not perfect and may make mistakes!

I believe that Jesus calls us to love our neighbors – all of them. Period. I have no authority to judge anyone, and my sins are as great as, if not worse than, yours. Please know that if something I say comes across any differently, it is not my intention.

Any comments that are rude, judgmental, hateful, etc. will be deleted, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I welcome different viewpoints because that is how we learn! Just please do so in a loving, respectful manner.

Feel free to email me with any questions or comments!

To God be ALL the Glory

Love, Grace
